Fun Holiday Activities Guaranteed To Keep You Cozy This Year

I always become a homebody in the winter but with locking myself indoors comes a lot of boredom. Here’s a list of some of the best warm winter home activities I cycle through during winters and some new ones I want to try this year to keep you nice and cozy.

1. Cozy Gaming with Snacks and Drinks

Immersive gaming essentials: PS3 controller, headset, fueling up with coffee, keyboard, and snacks to conquer the gaming realm!

There is nothing better than some mood lighting, a bag of potato chips and diet Coke, and a cozy game to huddle up with at home when it’s cold and snowing outside. This is one of my favourite warm winter home activities that can be done solo or with family and friends.

2. Bake Holiday Treats

The smell of warm freshly baked pastries filling the house during the holiday season is so comforting. I know that baking is not a relaxing activity for everyone but if that is the case for you, I would like to recommend some mixes to try so you can do your baking in the easiest way possible and enjoy a sweet treat.

3. Put Up Holiday Decorations

I find holiday decorating very relaxing and it makes the space warm and cozy, helping me deal with the winter blues. Decorating does not have to be expensive and difficult. This is also a very fun bonding activity to do with your friends and family.

4. Have a Colouring Night

Who says colouring is a kids-only activity? Adult colouring books are all the rage right now and colouring is a great way to relieve stress and get creative. You can use any supplies you have at home, colour pencils, paints, markers, whatever works best for you and print out some colouring sheets or buy one of these books linked below. This activity can be done solo or with some friends and family.

5. Host a Karaoke Night

I love going to Karaoke with my friends and it’s one of my favourite warm winter home activities during the wintertime. You do not need a machine to do this but I will link some good ones below. Youtube has tons of karaoke playlists. Get that 1 month free trial of YouTube Premium and you have your Karaoke night figured out. You can even have themed karaoke nights such as Christmas karaoke or Taylor Swift karaoke. Eat, drink, and sing your heart out with family and friends.
