One of my goals this year is to be more experimental with my fashion choices. An easy inspiration for this has always been looking at celebrities, tv show characters, and 90s movies for me. I have been putting together a moodboard of music videos and singer inspired outfits that I would like to buy or thrift on my Pinterest and thought it would be a great blog for the fashion-loving readers.
Here are some of the songs and artists I have been listening to on repeat this year and details on outfit ideas inspired by them:
My Love Mine All Mine: Mitski – Outfit
Music Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vx4kLgnFexo
I have been a Mitski fan for a couple years and this song made it to my Spotify wrapped for the past year. I love the energy she exudes and her concert outfits. This song is mellow, soulful, and perfect for those rainy days where you just want to reminisce.
Outfits: Feminine, lots of flowy dresses, sleek mid-length hair, none-to-minimal jewelry. I really like how sleek and minimal all her outfits her and it really matches her vibe and music.

Dress: The Kallie Flowy Maxi Dress from Anthropologie

Feather: Sabrina Carpenter – Outfit
Music Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLbn61Z4LDI
This song is super trendy right now. As it should be because the song is so fun, catchy, and the outfits in the music video went straight to my vision board.
Outfits: The outfits in this music video are very Y2K. Sabrina Carpenter dons a micro mini skirt, baby tees, a gorgeous black ruffled dress. She also has some pink ribbon action going on. The outfits are completed with her signature bangs and some very gorgeous sunglasses.

Laufey is my fashion and makeup inspiration. I love her soft girl vibes, her pastelly fashion and she has the sweetest voice. There’s not much in the official audio video but that pearl top! Stunning! I have my eyes set on it. I absolutely love her style.
