Holiday party season is upon us and I have been thinking about what my ultimate holiday dinner party would be like if I could buy everything on my wishlist. I made a list (because I love making lists) of my favourite home and kitchen items to throw the most beautiful party to kick off the holidays. I know I generally do budget friendly ideas but compiling a wishlist where budget was no issue was extremely fun to do!

Madeline Table Runner – Anthropologie
I have to layer on a table runner on top of my new tablecloth right? Good thing is, I found the perfect one from Anthropologie (again, budget no issue here). This table runner comes in 4 stunning colours. If you are thinking of buying this, you can opt for the more colorful ones and do not have to layer it on top of a tablecloth. My eye is on the white one!

Rustic Wreath Laminated Cork Placemats – Simons
One’s obviously going to need the perfect placemats for the perfect tablecloth. I cannot get enough of these gorgeous wreath placements from Maison Simons. This set of four has a rustic theme. The wreaths include a traditional one, one with oranges, one with pomegranates, and one with figs. These will be the perfect addition for your ultimate holiday dinner party.

Porcelain Plates – H&M Home
These plates have a fluted inside edge and scalloped, gold-colored rim. They come in two different colours – white and green. Since I’ve already got a detailed tablecloth and placemats now, I will go with the white ones!

Catherine Martin Starry Night Dessert Plates, Mixed Set of 4 – Anthropologie
These are the most stunning plates I have seen. Now picture some Tiramisu or Christmas Trifle on one of these lovely plates. These plates do come at a steep price tag but I swear my dessert will taste better when eaten off of one of these. Fun fact – Catherine Martin has worked as producer on The Great Gatsby (2013) and is married to Baz Lurhmann! You can really see the Gatsby style in these plates. You can definitely see hints of Art Deco in this collection.

Ripple Stacking Glasses – Set of 4 – MoMA Design Store
These glasses are Danish design inspired and all 4 are slightly different but equally gorgeous. These glasses are perfect to serve your special holiday cocktail or mocktail or some sparkling water (fancy). MoMA has some great dinnerware that I keep adding to my wishlist.

If you, like me, are a fan of colourful, festive, vintage designs, this glassware collection will blow your mind. These glasses look like Christmas ornaments and are so gorgeous. They come in a deep red and deep green and include champagne flutes, highball glasses, wine glasses, goblets, and double old-fashioned glasses.

The ultimate holiday dinner party requires the perfect dessert. This winter I have been craving and making a lot of apple crumble and I would love to make some in this stunning Le Creuset.
